Here is an idea! The next time you have to replace your boat seats because the vinyl has ripped or split - again - why not try a seat that needs no additional covering? The tough exterior skin on our seats that is formed during the molding process seals and protects the interior foam from the elements and keeps your exterior comfortable at the same time! Choose the framed seat that suits your purpose, add the adapter plate and possibly the swivel plate from our accessories page and you have a complete unit ready to mount and go.
General Use Seats (Framed)
These framed seats offer a great deal of flexibility in designing anything you may need for outdoor seating. Both the 11" seat, pictured on the left, and the 13" seat, pictured on the right, incorporate a tubular steel frame, pictured in the middle, The frame is encapsulated in the foam during the molding process and has three 3/8 16 mounting points you can use to attach it to whatever structure you want to. Utilizing the adapter plate and the swivel plate shown on the accessory page gives you even more flexibility in your design. Perfect for outdoor seating, these seats come in our standard black color. In-mold coating can be used to color these seats however, achieving a complete covering of the base color is easier said than done. Below are some results from our initial testing with the in-mold coatings.
